Ok so I know I promised the video from last night but like I said we were getting ready for bed and we were in our PJs....yeah Im not posting that on the net. So here are 2 make up videos. Not as good of a crawl but he is on the move.
Because we are now on the move I need help from good web surfers. I am looking for this....Li'l Playzone with Lights & Sounds. I need to find the best price. If you see it on sale please shoot me a comment.
Ok so I couldn't think of a title. I thought I should do a better post seeing as the last one was so short. 4th of July was spent with my mom tired and sun burned doing a yard sale. We cant complain to much because we did make some money.
Being away from cribs and holding the boys so much did cause a little disruption in the sleeping pattern. this is what I found when I heard Ethan playing in his crib during nap.
Evern grocery shopping was hard work
But the 4th of July was still fun
After a hard weekend I thought the boys needed to let loose and have fun.
In other news...Owen got up on his knees and rocked today. I am excited because that is the next step moving towards crawling.
One year ago today I heard those words. "Both babies look great". Both. It had taken me a long time after only seeing one baby on the first u/s to get Erick to stop saying that it was wrong and we were really having twins. One year ago today he got to do his told you so dance. When we found out we were having twins it really was a shock. The first attempt at looking at the baby was not a success and we had to wait to see a special tech. We sat in the waiting room thinking after 2 years we had lost the baby we tried so hard and waited so long for. When we got back to see the special tech it wasnt long at all before she said the words that changed our lives in so many ways..."both babies look great". That phrase is as true today as it was then. My boys are wonderful and thriving. They are getting big and for the most part they are doing everything their peers are doing. BOTH BABIES LOOK GREAT! Words that will change your life in ways you cant even imagine.
OMG where has the time gone! My little babies are six months old.
Owen has taken on a dominate personality.
We are now getting geared up to crawl

Daddy's lessons on the apostrophes
My dear sweet boys:
It seems like just yesterday that I found out you were coming to me. Then in a blink you were here. We brought you home and have never looked back. The first time you looked into my eyes you stole my heart. Then your smiles made my soul smile. I cant imagine my life without you. It has been a blessing getting to watch you grow. You are now six months old and learning new things every day. It is astonishing how quick you pick things up. Owen you are so strong and hard headed already so independent just like me. Ethan you are such a flirt and so calm and laid back. I am so enjoying watching you develop into little men. I love you more and more each day. I love watching your eyes light up when you see your daddy. It brings me back to when I first met your dad and the way I used to look at him. I could not have asked for better babies when I got you.
People are always wondering how a twin nursery works in such a small space. Well here it is. The video isn't the greatest but it is what it is. The theme is moons and stars in blue, yellow and green.
The only things in the room are 2 cribs, one dresser, a night stand, a chair and an exercise ball. The chair doesn't rock so I bounce the boys on the ball. Yes the boys are in their crib sleeping at the time I took the video. They will sleep though just about anything.
EDIT: because it was asked the nursery is 11x9, the walls really are white, and it is decals on the walls because Im not allowed to paint my apartment.
7am wake bottle 7oz 730-8 bouncer chairs (must sit up 30 min for reflux) 8-9 floor play/ baby yoga 9-11 nap 11 wake bottle 6-7 oz 1130-12 boppys (must sit up 30 min for reflux) 12-1 floor play/ tummy time 1-2 nap 2 wake bottle 7-8 oz 230-3 bouncers (must sit up 30 min for reflux) 3-6 play/tummy/yoga (if I am lucky there will be a 30 min nap in there) 6 bottle 7 oz 6-630 cuddles and snuggles with mommy and daddy 630-7 bath book and top off 1-2 oz 7 bed
Bed time is ALWAYS at 7 but they may not wake til 8 pushing back all bottles before 6 by one hr.
Well last night the boys slept in their own beds for the first time (well Ethan was in the crib and Owen in the pack n play). They slept til almost 8 so we just let them talk in there til 8. I got them up while Erick made bottles. They finished eating at about 830. We put them in their highchairs and ate breakfast ourselves. Then we did something else new. WE STARTED OATMEAL.
Before playing with spoons:
What is this thing?
I dont need your help I can eat on my own
Owen had to have his spoon taken away because he kept actually getting it in his mouth but he was gagging himself on it.
So as you can see my blog got a little face lift. What do you think of the new look? In addition to the new look I learned how to do a few other new things...like video. Wooo hooo so for no real reason I think I will show you some home movies.
The first two videos are ones that Erick took in the NICU. They were the first time I really got to see my boys. I asked Erick to go in there and get some pictures for me and this is what he brought back to me.
This next video is the boys doing a little tummy time today.
